Mysore Pak

Mysore Pak is a classic Indian sweet originating from the city of Mysore in Karnataka. It is made from a rich mixture of besan (gram flour), ghee, and sugar. The preparation involves roasting the gram flour in ghee until it becomes aromatic, then adding sugar syrup to create a smooth, fudgy mixture. This mixture is cooked until it thickens and starts to leave the sides of the pan. It is then poured into a greased tray, allowed to set, and cut into squares. Mysore Pak is known for its melt-in-the-mouth texture and rich, buttery flavor, making it a favorite during festivals and special occasions.
